Event Details
A talk by Cliff Lauson and Eva Ruschkowski.
Enjoy an exclusive conversation between Cliff Lauson, Senior Curator at the Hayward Gallery, and Eva Ruschkowski, HENI Senior Art Researcher, centred around the Hayward Gallery’s 2021 exhibition Gerhard Richter: Drawings, 1999-2021. Located in the HENI Project Space, the exhibition marks the first presentation of work by Gerhard Richter in a major London gallery in a decade, bringing together more than 60 works on paper.
The talk focuses on the life and work of legendary contemporary artist Gerhard Richter and his drawing practice. To accompany the exhibition, HENI have published a new monograph devoted to Richter’s recent drawings, illustrating 80 works produced between 1999 and 2021, available to members in the digital library.
