Book Launch: Craig Wood Catalogue Raisonné
Event Details
HENI is happy to invite you to the book launch of ‘Craig Wood: Catalogue RaisonnĂ© 1987-2018’.
The event will take place at HENI Gallery in Soho, London on 14 September between 6-8pm.
The book, which features an essay by art critic Michael Archer and an interview by British artist Fiona Banner, is the first published retrospective of the British conceptual artist.
A selection of Wood’s wall-based artworks and sculptures will also be on show during the event, including works from his series ‘Hair on Soap’ (1999). These photographic prints record the ghastly presence of a human hair on different coloured soaps. Another work on show, his print, ‘When Did You Last Paint your Father’ (1998) pays homage to Pop artist, Andy Warhol, and references Warhol’s iconic Campbell’s Tomato Soup.
Drinks will be provided, along with an informal discussion with Wood. You can purchase the book at the event, including signed copies.
